If your student is seeking a degree or certificate, they need to connect with their assigned academic advisor every semester prior to registration. Remind them to connect with their academic advisor and review important dates, like when the schedules come out (October and March) and when registration opens for the next semester. Around mid-term of the semester, we start advising for the next term. Summer and fall registration opens on the same day.
In order to protect your student’s right to privacy, information regarding your student cannot be disclosed by advisors, counselors, faculty, staff, and administrators, without the student’s consent. We are guided by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). If student’s want to give consent for their educational information to be released, they should visit the Admissions Office in person with a photo ID.
