Curriculum Meetings and Timelines
The Curriculum Committee process requires a pre-committee review of curricular changes before they are taken to the full committee for first reading. In order for items to be considered, they must first meet one of the deadlines for packet submission in the right column below. At which Curriculum Committee meeting those items are considered depends on the types and/or volume of revisions required. Faculty are strongly encouraged to work closely on curricular changes with their division chair and Shannon McGregor, Coordinator of Curriculum Development (smcgregor2@lakelandcollege.edu, ext. 5334, Webb Hall 027).
Curriculum Development forms are located on the shared drive under Academics, Academic Forms, Curriculum Development Forms. Course and program changes must be described on the Rationale for Course or Program Revisions Form Excel file in that folder.
Courses
- To create a new course, complete the Course Information Form and Rationale for Course or Program Revisions Form (Rationale tab only), Excel files on the shared drive.
- If revising a course, request the most recent Course Information Form from Shannon.
