Faculty Association

The faculty of Lake Land College have been helping students reach their academic goals since 1967. The College’s dedicated faculty members are an important reason for the College prospering for so long. During the school’s history, three years have experienced the largest hiring events, those being ’67, ’97, and ’23.

The Lake Land College Faculty Association (LLCFA)—an affiliate of the Illinois Federation of Teachers, Local 2296—was established in 1968. The LLCFA’s elected Executive Committee consists of a President, President-Elect, Treasurer, Secretary, and Grievance Officer. With over one hundred members, the faculty play an integral role inside and outside of the classroom.

The faculty association meets once a month on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 11:00 a.m. during fall and spring semesters. For more information contact any of the officers, committee chairs, or building representatives.
