Celebrate the start of the spring semester at this student-focused event all about learning and creative fun. Stop by to pick up your spring books and stay for crafts, snacks, and goodies (while supplies last)! Join us in connecting with other Lakers as we kick off a new semester.
Looking to get involved? Curious what our campus clubs have been up to? This is your chance to learn about their projects, ask questions, and explore opportunities to join. Whether you’re a new student starting in the spring or a returning student ready to dive in, this event is the perfect way to connect!
Connect with representatives from Financial Aid and the Foundation Office for help with all your scholarship questions. Attendees will enjoy a FREE sub!

We are excited to welcome Josh McVicar for a dual event! This show is free and open to all LLC students. We will also be hosting area high school students as part of the High School Leadership Conference. Enjoy the experience and prepare to be amazed by his mind-bending tricks and practical tips for leadership and success.
Get creative and join us for a paint session! We are hosting a Valentine’s Day Paint Party with beautiful canvases designed by college faculty member Tanille Ulm. Grab a brush and enjoy a relaxing time creating your masterpiece.
Take a well-deserved break with us. We are offering FREE mini-massages to help you recharge. While you are there, grab some goodies and pick up resources from the Wellness Center to keep your mind and body healthy this semester. Don’t miss out on this chance to reset.
Don’t miss our screening of the documentary Death and Taxes, a film that tackles the controversial topic of the estate tax through a deeply personal family story. Director Justin Schein will join us immediately following the movie for a live Q&A to answer your questions and discuss the film’s production.
If you’ve completed 29 or more credit hours and will be returning in the fall, consider running for Student Government Association – applications will be available on the Laker Hub from February 20 – March 20.

Let’s make January a reason to celebrate! This month, the Laker Food Pantry will be collecting items for birthday cake kits to put in the pantry. A cake kits includes a cake pan, a box of cake mix, a can of frosting, and one can of soda. Sprinkles are a fun option too! If you’d like to make a kit or donate the items, they can be dropped off all month long in the Student Wellness Center!
