Industrial Maintenance (CRT.INDMT)

 

Build a variety of skills in the Industrial Maintenance program! This program will train you in the areas of machine shop work, hydraulics and electricity, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance. The courses focus on mechanical skills and hands-on labs, providing education and training needed to gain an entry level position. Nationwide, the industry needs skilled maintenance mechanics. As a person with training in industrial maintenance, a variety of jobs are available in many locations to you.

  • Concentration on mechanically oriented course work

Industrial Maintenance technicians work at a wide variety of facilities, including manufacturing facilities, factories, food-processing facilities, power plants and construction sites.

Hands On Experience

As a Lake Land College Industrial Maintenance student, you will gain hands-on training and refine your skills in campus labs filled with industry-standard equipment. You will be able to train in the following areas:

  • Basic Electrical maintenance and installation procedures
  • Heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems
  • Pneumatic Controls
