Learn how to protect your community through the Law Enforcement Operations program. This program is designed for those who would like basic law enforcement operational knowledge to be successful and effective in law enforcement careers. The law enforcement operations program prepares you to act professionally, make ethical decisions, think critically and respond appropriately. While varied in their jurisdictions and approaches, all law enforcement agencies share the same broad goal: to uphold the law and to ensure public order and safety. This short-term certificate option provides hands-on experience for those interested in gaining direct law enforcement experience or advancing in the ranks at a law enforcement agency.

Program Options

Law Enforcement Operations provides practical experience in the field of law enforcement. It is ideal to supplement the Transfer Ready Criminal Justice degree.

 

Transfer Options

The certificate in Law Enforcement Operations is aimed at students who are seeking a career in law enforcement but may not be able to complete an entire degree at the present time. This certificate will provide basic law enforcement operational knowledge to help students be more successful in their law enforcement careers.

This certificate can be applied toward the Law Enforcement associate in applied science degree to help expand the student’s credentials and knowledge.
