Livestock Production (CRT.LVST)
Learn how to raise animals in the Livestock Production Program. This specialized certificate is designed to prepare you for employment in a variety of livestock areas. These jobs include herdsman positions, A.I. technicians, livestock managers and home farm operators. Gather information on animals and learn how to evaluate their health. Understand the fundamentals of livestock husbandry and how to take care of farm animals. Employment rates have grown steadily and is projected to increase significantly through 2035 (Career Coach).
Hands On Experience
Interact with farm animals! You will have the opportunity to work with an SOE (Supervised Occupational Experience) to gain first hand experience.
