What can I do if my internet is slow?
The most reliable way to connect to your VM is to use the desktop agent installed on your personal computer. The other option is using the HTML method. The desktop agent is the most resilient for slower internet speeds although it generally runs a little bit slower. The HTML method is the least resilient and is more prone to dropping the connection, but generally runs a little bit faster. The desktop agent must be used if you want to print to a local printer or use locally inserted USB drives. Both options allow for using network drives for saving work.
If it is a problem with the internet connection being too slow:
- Try setting your personal phone as a hotspot.
- Find local places/businesses that don’t mind you using them as a hotspot.
