Commencement to be Held Friday, May 15
Published on March 3, 2026
Lake Land College will hold its annual commencement ceremony on Friday, May 15 in the campus Field House. Students who have or will finish their programs following completion of the Fall 2025, Spring 2026 and Summer 2026 semesters will be recognized at the ceremony.
To ensure all graduates are able to have their loved ones attend the in-person ceremony, Field House admission on the day of commencement will be limited only to guests wearing wristbands. Each graduate will receive four wristbands to share with the guests of their choice. Graduates will be able to pick up their wristbands at the Admissions & Records Office in the Luther Student Center from May 11-15.
All guests without wristbands are invited to view a livestream of the ceremony, which will be played on campus in both the Luther Student Center Theater and the Foundation & Alumni Center. Seating in these venues will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. The livestream will also be available to view on the Lake Land College website at LakeLandCollege.edu.
Students eligible to graduate must submit a graduation application by Friday, March 20. Students who do not complete the application by the deadline will not be guaranteed wristbands for guest seating in the Field House.
Any guests in need of accessible seating accommodations in the Field House can complete the Accessible Seating registration on the Lake Land College graduation webpage at LakeLandCollege.edu/Admissions/Graduation-Information/Accessible-Seating-Registration/. The deadline to submit the accessible seating registration form is Monday, May 11.
