The Illinois Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (IACRAO) recently awarded its Leadership and Service Scholarships to two Lake Land College students, Jay Bliler and Aubrey Killey, during the annual IACRAO conference in Bloomington.

The IACRAO Leadership and Service Scholarships are awarded on an annual basis to outstanding students enrolled at IACRAO member institutions, helping students transfer and continue their higher education pursuits. Eligible students are those who have been accepted for admission as a transfer student between IACRAO member institutions, have completed a minimum of 45 credit hours and have earned a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA.

Bliler is from Taylorville and is studying in Lake Land’s agriculture transfer program. A member of the Lake Land College Student Government Association (SGA), Bliler holds the role of Student Trustee, serving as the official student representative on the Lake Land College Board of Trustees. Upon graduating from Lake Land in Spring 2026, Bliler plans to transfer to Illinois State University to double major in agribusiness and accounting.

Killey is from Roseville and is a student in Lake Land’s agriculture transfer program, in which she competes as a member of the College’s award-winning livestock judging team. Killey also serves as the Vice President of the Lake Land College SGA. Upon graduating from Lake Land in Sprig 2026, she plans to transfer to Western Illinois University to study ag business and communications.

IACRAO is made up of Admission and Records professionals from accredited post-secondary schools located within the state of Illinois. IACRAO’s primary functions are to educate its members, promote professionals and professional development for its members and represent its members and their views through interaction with other professional groups.
