The Rural King Annual Scholarship is available for full-time and part-time students who are active Rural King employees or dependents of an employee with financial need. Priority will be placed on students that live or work in a Rural King County, and demonstrate alignment with Rural King’s core values through community involvement. This new scholarship opportunity was created  as a new partnership between Rural King and Lake Land College to support the continued growth and development of Rural King associates and their dependents through providing access to post-secondary educational opportunities.

To Apply

Note: The application is available from November 1- February 1, and again August 1-31.

Prospective Students

1. Create your Laker profile and submit your Application.
2. Within a few business days, you can access your welcome letter in your Laker Profile. This will contain your student ID#, student username, and instructions to log into the Laker Hub.
3. Using your student information, log into the Laker Hub and click on the Foundation Scholarship button to access the application.
