Important Information Regarding the Location of the Student Success Center for Summer 2025
Beginning Monday, May 5th, all in-person Accuplacer testing will be located with Breanna Moore in the Neal Hall main area, closest to the Neal North Conference Room (Neal 030). In-person testing will take place in Neal North (Neal 030). The switchboard will also be located in that area, as will the main line for Testing and Tutoring (5301).
Beginning Tuesday, May 27th, all proctoring and Pearson Vue Testing will be located in the Judge Learning Resource Center, in 101. Check in will be outside that area, at the Reference Desk. The phone number to reach that area is with Janet Meadows, at 217-234-5247.
Also Beginning Tuesday, May 27th, all tutoring services will be located in Webb Hall 081. Accommodations will also be in Webb Hall. To reach these services, contact 217-234-2063 (Webb 081); Kim Hunter, 217-234-5287, or Ron Mason, 217-234-2005.
There will be NO tutoring or proctoring services the week of May 19th, as we work on moving spaces. Accuplacer testing is already in place in Neal and will continue uninterrupted. Accommodations may still be scheduled as needed.
This is a temporary move that will go through the summer, while the Testing and Tutoring area goes through a scheduled remodel. We hope to return to our new, updated space in the old location with the return of the fall semester.

The Student Success Center is located in Webb Hall 130 on the Mattoon campus. Here we offer in-person and online tutoring as well as proctoring and accommodation testing services.
Our proctoring services include administration of the college placement tests, proctoring services for tests and quizzes for courses that require testing in a proctored environment, administration of pre-nursing exams and testing for various programs such as: Pearson VUE testing and CLEP testing. We also provide accommodations for students with disabilities, such as extended time proctoring and alternative environments for testing.
Located in Webb Hall 130, the Center hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday and later by appointment (Monday through Thursday during summer session).
Tutoring walk-ins available anytime between 10:00am and 5:00pm!
We also have tutors in many subjects including but not limited to those is : Business, Humanities, Math and Science, Social Science, Agriculture, Vocational, Technology, Adult Education and more.
