Distinguished Service Award

Award

The Distinguished Service Award is designed for individuals whose exemplary service and contributions have benefited Lake Land College or its affiliated organizations (Foundation, Departments, Advisory Committees, Student Organizations, etc.). Present paid members of the faculty and staff and current members of the Board of Trustees are not eligible for these awards.

Presentation

The recipient(s) will be presented with an appropriate award at the annual Foundation & Alumni Awards Reception.

Selection Process

Nomination forms will be distributed to appropriate groups each year, and nominations received on or before February 1, will be eligible for consideration for the award.

A committee consisting of members of the following: Lake Land College Board of Trustees, Alumni, Lake Land College Foundation Board of Directors, Faculty, Staff, and the President will make a recommendation to the Board of Trustees, who will make the final selection.

The Distinguished Service Award is designed for individuals who have rendered outstanding service to Lake Land College. Present paid members of the faculty and staff and members of the Board of Trustees are not eligible for the Distinguished Service Award.
