Career Day 2026
Published on August 25, 2026
Lake Land College is hosting its annual Career Day event on Tuesday, October 6. The event will give high school juniors and seniors from 25 high school districts the chance to network with local professionals and discover rewarding career possibilities.
During this year’s Career Day event, participating students will choose from more than 150 scheduled sessions to attend to learn about a diverse range of local career paths. Each session will provide an in-depth presentation from local professionals representing industries such as agriculture, healthcare, business, information technology, cosmetology, humanities, arts, communications, welding, math, science, engineering, education, criminal justice, human services, psychology, sociology, political science, history, automotive, construction, technology and more.
This year’s Career Day event will also include a Career & College Fair for students to attend before or after their scheduled sessions. At the Career & College Fair, students will be able to meet with representatives from colleges and universities across the country to learn about programs, transfer options, scholarships and more. Representatives from local businesses, as well as from all branches of the military, will also be present at the Career & College Fair to discuss apprenticeships, internships and additional career opportunities.
“There’s no better way to learn about possible career paths than by hearing the insights and perspectives of the people who work in those jobs every day,” said Peighton Hinote, Coordinator for Student Communication & Initiatives. “This event is always a perfect opportunity for students to receive everything they need all in one place as they begin to make their future plans.”
Colleges, universities and local organizations interested in presenting during Career Day or hosting a table at the College and Career Fair can register now on the Lake Land College Career Day Organization webpage.
