Transcripts
Students need transcripts for a bunch of important reasons — it’s basically their official academic record, and it follows them through different stages of education and into their careers.

Special Programs

Honors Experience
The Honors Program has many advantages including attending class with other academically talented students.
- May receive scholarship aid.
- Will carry honors designation on their transcripts for each honors course successfully completed.
- Receive honors recognition and are eligible to wear honors regalia at the graduation ceremony.

Perkins Program
The Perkins Program provides services to help students enrolled in Workforce Ready programs successfully complete an associate in applied science (AAS) degree or certificate, with the goal to enter the workforce in the chosen field immediately after completion. Students may be able to receive direct assistance through the Perkins Program if they are enrolled in a Workforce Ready Major and are a member of a Special Population.

Special Admission Programs
Some of Lake Land College’s programs are considered “special admission programs” which means that acceptance into these programs is competitive. Students must complete an application procedure and meet specific criteria to be admitted to a special admission program. Enrollment into the College does not guarantee admission into a special admission program.
